Bleeding for 26 days, taking Tranexamic Acid and Norethisterpne 1 x 3 day of each.
I have multiple fibroids, I have done
embolisation
in 2.5 years ago at London’s Royal Free which improved my conditions until now. I don’t know if I need to keep taking these pills and the bleeding will stop eventually? Is that normal that bleeding is still there?

varicocele embolisation abroad
Hi, Has anyone had Varicocele
embolisation
abroad to save costs? How do I go about searching for clinics abroad? Can anyone recommend any clinics abroad? I don’t mind where it is as long as the cost savings makes it worth it. It costs £6-7k in the UK.

Varicocele treatment - surgery or embolisation?
The urologist said there are two options: surgical or
embolisation
. The first is done by the urologist, and the second by an interventional radiologist. Both are day case procedures. Does anyone have any experience with either of these?

Necrosing spleen
Does anyone have any experience of having a spleen
embolisation
? If so, did their spleen carry on necrosis 5 months later? Has anyone had a drain for 5 months outputting necrosing puss? How long were they in hospital for?

Spleen embolisation gone wrong
Hello, Does anyone have any experience of why anyone with Polycythemia Vera and Portal Vein Thrombosis, with a 22cm spleen would be offered a partial splenectomy, a spleen
embolisation
through the groin? Has anyone been through this?

Looking for feedback regarding Asymptomatic Afib
I'm fairly new to this forum and I already feel at home. It's very refreshing to find an online community whose members are so kind, understanding and generous. By way of introduction, I'm a 69-year-old male living in Connecticut. My Afib history is as follows: Diagnosed with Afib by PCP - 8/9/

Left ventricular thrombus
My husband had X2 stemi & a stroke last autumn. He has recovered incredibly well. Last week we heard a heart MRI showed a mural thrombus upon a damaged area of left ventricular apex. He has been put on anti coagulation & will be reviewed in 6 months. The potential problem of embolization is very frightening

Unsuccessful 1st Cycle - no blastocyst - what's next?
Hi all, my husband and I went through our first ICSI cycle in November in London and unfortunately the results were not great, from 5 eggs retrieved, we had only 3 embryos on day 3 and no blastocyst on day 5. Our clinic highlighted two issues: the low follicular response rate (potentially low egg

Prostatic Artery Embolization
I’m 67 year old and have been suffering with BPH for years. Don’t want to do TURP or lasers. I’m interested in doing PAE. Has anyone had this procedure done. Does it work. I had a cystoscope and the urologist found a medial lobe at the neck of the bladder. Would PAE work if the blockage is located there

Spontaneous Subdural Hematoma
I am 58 years old. A few months I started to develop headaches and neck pain that gradually increased in severity. I eventually went to the ER and was diagnosed with a minor subdural hematoma (SDH) based upon a CT Scan and was sent home for follow-up with a neurosurgeon. I have had no recent head

Does anyone have experience of Lenvatinib as a treatment for liver cancer?
After a scan I was told that I had one large tumour and several smaller ones, that the large tumour was near the main artery and was of a size that ruled out conventional treatment, liver transplant, radiotherapy,
embolisation
or any of the current methods of dealing with the tumour.

Newbie questions - HyCosy, IUI, IVF
My husband had low numbers across the board which have since improved a lot (aside from morphology) since an
embolisation
for varicocele back in May last year. My side of things are thankfully good with really high AMH and ovarian reserve.

Then go straight to TARE radio
embolisation
which is hugely expensive. My oncologist in Dubai wants me to have a biopsy before any changes to medication or treatment options but Cyprus doesn't agree. My head is scrambled.
