Learn CPR and Defibrillator training
More people need CPR training. Not enough people do. I am an ex Nurse and Firefighter and seen first hand the benefits of learning CPR ect. I now have my First Aid Instructor qualification and teach Basic Life Support-CPR-Defibrillator training. My own training has helped me in 2 different situations

Having a STEMI in mid 40's...the search for underlying causes / answers for premature CHD.
Hi Everyone, My husband had a major STEMI in March 2023 with a full blockage of his circumflex artery. He was 44 years old and playing 5-a-side football in a local sports centre when he collapsed without warning. Thank goodness it happened there of all places however, as the swift actions of his team

Boston Scientific I/v cardioverter) defibrillator question
Hi looking for first experiences of having the above device fitted. I'm one week on from the implant and the soreness from the operation is settling down. I am still sleeping on my right side which is fine. But when I am lying flat the box starts firing off, I guess in cardioverter mode. It's set
