anyone takes relugolix and bitalucamide together ?
Does anyone take orgovyx and bicalutamide together. Dad was earlier prescribed lupron so the doc had started him on bicalutamide 100 mg a day. But then decided to go with orgovyx instead of Lupron. One MO says to stop the bicalutamide since starting relugolix and the other MO says to continue bicalutamide

Dexa scan report showing osteoporosis
Did a baseline Dexa scan report for dad who is 83 and with bone mets. Some areas like femur say osteoporosis. He does have mets there. Have started his ADT from today with relugolix. Worried about this dexa report. Would love to hear any inputs from those who had a similar situation.

Lupron - start with one month dose or 3 months ?
Dad , 83 , is to start with lupron soon. He has been on bicalutamide since two weeks. He is in good health generally and has not had heart issues apart from hypertension since many years , controlled by medicine. Doctor has advised 3 monthly lupron injections. But I was wondering if it would

is this what CR looks like?
Starting Nov 20 last year, I began a relugolix on-cycle. Here’s the PSA readings from that point: Nov 20 : 3.10 Jan 8: 0.31 Feb 27: 0.13 Apr 15: 0.08 So up to this point, the PSA is dropping nicely, as it always has with on-cycles; and as I would expect, since I’ve been a strong responder

Lupron - are there heart risks?
My father , 83 , recently got diagnosed with Prostate cancer with mets to some bones , as per PSMA test. We have not done a biopsy as one doctor said there is no need to do it as treatment options won’t change but another doctor says it’s good to do it in case later down the line we need to add treatments

10th year
Ten years ago I had my Gleason 9 prostate removed. PSA was .1 for a while. It crept up over .2, and I began taking lupron. The drug brought PSA back down to >.01 for a year or so. As the level started going up again, I received whole pelvis bed radiation, moving PSA to undetectable. After a year or so

Relugolix
Hi ladies,I was prescribed this drug last week and was looking for some reviews/experiences from those of you who have taken this medication. I know we all react differently to medications, but I am quite nervous to start it with it only being new to the market for endo/fibroids, wanting to do some

Relugolix/Orgovyx or Enzalutamide/Xtandi?
Good morning, all. I have updated my profile with my husband's history. But, long story short, he has been on ADT vacation for 13 months following succesful treatment of metastatic disease with Triplet Therapy (six rounds of Docetaxel, Lupron, and first Abieraterone plus Prednisone and then he switched

Agonists vs. antagonists (the latter not to be confused with a character in a novel!)
I know many of you on this site are beyond ADT, but for those who are still holding on in that space, I'd like to share my experience with the newer antagonists drugs, degarelix ( U.S. brand, Firmagon) and relugolix (U.S. brand, Orgovyx). I started ADT exactly 8 years ago this month and during my off-and-on

Combine standard care with alternative care
The University of Maryland reported two cases of terminated PCs by combining standard care treatment with an alternative treatment. By reducing the PSAs to less than 3, the clioquinol + zinc killed more cancer than testosterone could renew, therefore termination. My PSA in three months went from 58

Relugolix and Apalutamide
Any experience with elevated AST and ALT after being treated with Relugolix and Apalutamide? My AST and ALT were normal on Relugolix for 6 weeks.....added Apalutamide and after 4 weeks my AST and ALT are now 3X previous level. I feel fine. Oncologist is wanting to stop the one of the drugs.....I convinced

8/4/23 Update questions for MO
To review, after 19 months on Lupron, Zytiga, prednisone, PSA increased on 1/23 to 0.253, then 0.309 on 2/21. Plarify scan showed only one active site in hip which was radiated. 4/4 PSA dropped to 0.24 which indicated the lesion was knocked out and I would be hormone sensitive and stay on Zytiga. Yea

sudden stop in PSA decline
I‘ve been doing IADT, and started relugolix in December 2022, with PSA 7.48, and each monthly PSA decline since then was significant and reassuring. Here’s the history: December 7.48 January 0.94 February 0.49 March 0.24 April 0.09 [i]

Best use of Psa to guide intermittent hormone therapy
presently on relugolix + Darolutamide for local reccurrence and will go off these drugs if Psa is less than .65 three months ago tested and go back on when Psa reaches 3-5.. Seems it will be about 6months and hopefully 6 months off, Tentative protocol so far. Input from all and for all welcomed. Thanks

Recently diagnosed- Stage 4 at 45 yrs old.
Hey all! I’m an active 45 year old Australian, dad of 10 and 12 year old, living in Vermont USA, and I just recently got diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Mets to lymph nodes, several vertebrea, hip, rib etc. Gleason 9 and a relatively low PSA at 6.7 which is unusual. Apparently the sign
