When is a Run, not a Run...
... when the run view, the purpose of the run, becomes blurred. Well...grab a drink and maybe a snack, find a comfy spot and settle down, because this is a ramble. Not just any ramble, but a Floss ramble! You have been warned. This is about running and as CB says so often, absolutely

secondary infertility deciding when to stop
So I’m very lucky to already have the most wonderful child ! We’ve been trying to have another baby for over 2 years. I’ve had failed IUIs and then did a round of IVF where I had x4 embryos at day five which I was told were all ‘good’. Anyway none of them stuck x3 negatives and I had x1 chemical pregnancy

Stress over adult daughter
Our adult daughter is in an unhappy marriage, and I am unable to separate my happiness from her lack of happiness. They have four kids under 10 and she is a stay-at-home mom, so just leaving him isn’t an option. I think about her and the kids every waking moment, and that is affecting my relationship

non adhd partner
Does anybody know of an ADHD therapist on Long Island Suffolk County? I'm struggling with my relationship with my ADHD partner. We've been together for nine years and not married living together. He was never diagnosed officially. We've been to counseling but not with somebody who specializes in

Age, Donor Eggs & Anxiety
Hi warriors! Back on this wagon after quite sometime and looking for some advice, thoughts & most importantly your valuable emotional support. I’m 44 & after undergoing 3 IVFs & 1 IUI with my own eggs, have been advised by the consultant to consider the donor egg route as none of the cycles turned

Resentment withdrawn consent frosties
I am in a really shit situation. The husband and I were incredibly lucky to get our child from our second fresh round. Because we wanted to make sure we have enough embryos for siblings, we did 2 rounds at the time and have 7 frosties altogether. The husband indicated shortly after the birth of our child

Little update
Hey Everyone Just a little update from me, Olive is doing really well, growing nicely and around midnight until 3am she has a little rave in my womb and is really active. She is definitely going to be a party goer and a footballer when she's older. Dan has moved in with my mum while he recovers,

emotional abuse
my husband and I usually get along on a surface level. I treat him well. But he does things that are wrong, so that if I confront him he can deny it and chew me out. Playing mind games as a means of control. And weird stuff happens like the porch paint faded off over about a month and now looks bad,

Obsessed with being liked.
I’ve had this obsession for many years, I’m on medication and I’ve had numerous counselling sessions about. I can feel another bout of coming on the last couple of days. My behaviour changes and I struggle sleeping and constantly ruminate about it. I go out of my way to be nice to people in many ways

Struggling
Hi everyone, I'm struggling to come to terms with not having my own child. I'm soon to be 42 and I'm in a same sex relationship of five years. My partner has an 11 year old son from a previous relationship, conceived via a sperm donor, at home. We both initially wanted another child and both wanted

coping with loss of loved one
How soon is it advisable to get counselling to cope with an unexpected death of a loved one? I’m guessing well over a week? Last Sunday my partners brother who he’s not that close to decided to visit, he lives a 2 hour drive away so did come as a shock. My partner had a feeling he was about to get

Mental Health Counseling is a necessity
Since this is Mental Health Month….. makes me laugh, I thought I would utter my opinion on the lack of support for mental health through the process of Chronic Kidney Disease. This illness affects 14% of US adults, or 35 million people. You would think there would be a better mental health presence for

Stereotypes, getting older and illness
Hi, I just had a thought about the psychological effects of experiencing a chronic illness. When I experienced 3 months of undiagnosed PMR 2 years ago the effects were very debilitating and I remember thinking this must be it- its game over. Then came the thought if ever I get well enough just to go

just angry
about pretty much everything. I agreed to move to a different city to be near my sister’s son and his family, since she and I had moved in together after her husband’s death. The city is fine, much smaller than where I had lived most of my life, but that also means WAY less traffic, which I love. But

Newbie with Tinnitus and Pulsatile Tinnitus
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and would appreciate any tips. I've had tinnitus for many years and PT for 18 months. I also have ear fullness, dizziness and headaches. My GP was great from the outset and sent me for an MRI and referred me to a specialist ENT consultant immediately. The consultant
