Have tried probiotics and
Colpermin
. Has anyone tried Beano? I’m going to stay with a friend soon and am so worried about it as it’s so embarrassing. Does anyone else suffer the same thing?

struggling!!
I’ve been taking Alverine and
Colpermin
and have just started Movicol. I spoke with my lovely GP this morning and he feels certain that this is my bowels getting ‘backed ip’ due to my IBS. He’s recommended taking Movicol daily and Senna when needed.

Has anyone tried the above peppermint oil capsules for stomach cramps caused by diverticular disease please? I’m on daily flecainide and bisoprolol for my afib and don’t want to take anything that would rock the boat.

Attended Late Effects Clinic - Answers at last
Peppermint tea helps but it also bring a "clearing" effect close to Movicol for me (not really but you get the idea) so I have been given
Colpermin
which are slow release peppermint oil to see if that helps.

Pepper Mint Oil Bad Reaction
So a week goes by and I decide to try
Colpermin
Pepper Mint Oil tablets and would you believe the same thing happened again. I can smell the Menthol strongly as well as the intense burning. Can anyone figure out as to why my body keeps flat out rejecting these tablets?

Bloating
Peppermint oil capsules such as
Colpermin
, Mintec or Colomint may help relieve abdominal pain and bloating. Laxatives Laxatives work for some people with symptoms of bloating by encouraging the expulsion of faeces and gas.

Taking Colpermin to stop loose stools - now constipated help!
So to stop these very loose stools the doctors gave me
colpermin
… but that’s now turned me constipated! I absolutely hate having this constant anxiety as to whether somethings wrong with me… I go to the toilet and try to ‘go’ when my body tells me to but nothing! Has anyone else had this problem?
