Pains after heart bypass
I did have a partially
collapsed
lung
whilst in hospital and wondered if this was something to do with it. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar? I’m seeing the cardiac nurse in a couple of days so will ask her about it then.

Chemo in Tablet Form
I was hoping to go on another trial but due to plural effusion,
collapsed
lung
etc unfortunately I cannot now do this. I have been offered chemo in tablet form called Cyclophosphamide and wondered if anyone is on this or has been on this and might have positive feedback. Many thanks xx

After a chest X-ray, I was treated for Pneumonia and
collapsed

do I need my inhaler ?
I had a
collapsed
lung
in September last year and they did a cat scan 3 weeks later. The results letter that they sent my doctor was also sent to me. I’ve gathered that I have emphysema and bronchial wall thickening and other bits.

New here.
lung
in on 5th Jan 2021 and after being discharged from hospital a couple days later I haven’t smoked since which hasn’t been as hard as I thought, mainly because the thought of wanting to stay alive longer outweighed the want of a smoke.

Update copd/working
She did say though it’s very hard to be approved but she also said I was a risk to be working on a ward, with the copd symptoms and a
collapsed
lung
. I will have to wait and see , with the outcome.

pleural effusion
a couple of weeks ago , I was admitted to hospital with a pleural effusion plus
collapsed
lung
. I had 2.2litres of fluid drained from my lung! Has anyone else been in this situation ? It’s a bit scary as when I googled pleural effusion , it indicated that I don’t have a lot of time left .

lobes therefore was supported by a ventilator. I have been home for 7 weeks now and am slowly recovering. My pending issues are pain at the surgical site as I had 2 surgeries in the same place. I cannot lift my arms fully.

Can someone please share with me their experience after going thru radiotherapy for lung cancer? My dad had a radiotherapy for his lung cancer in Oct 2023. The radiotherapy went well with him not going thru any adverse side effects. However, now, 7 months later, he is experiencing shortness of breath

Just curious - have had cancer 6 times now, breast cancer x 3; bowel; lung; 5 times all operated on & fine, now this 6th time caused by the radiotherapy I had 25 years ago for my breast cancer caused my squamous lung cancer, not operable + of course no radiotherapy as I've had the max - was only discovered

Pulmonary Node revealed with PET scan not growing
During my treatment for PC the first Pet scan showed a pulmonary node. There were no Mets beyound the prostate. Three DRs., Urologist, Oncologist and Pulmonary, did not attribute the node to the PC, since it was so far removed and there were no other mets revealed. A subsquent MRI 3 months later indicated
