Open chest ASD closure
Therefore I will be listed to have open
chest
surgery
to close my ASD defect. Does anybody have experience of having ASD defect closed via such an invasive procedure? Is the scar impacting in your quality of life?

Difficulty swallowing when lying down -sternum repair concerns
The dip at the bottom of my throat seems to be getting deeper and the pidgeon
chest
' appearance since
surgery
isn't improving. It feels like the clavicle is too high and bone is pressing upwards and inwards into the bottom of my throat and last night was frightening.

Tocilizumab and heartburn
I’m finally back on Tocilizumab after an ankle replacement, 2 bouts of C-diff, a
chest
infection and minor
surgery
for an ingrowing toenail. It’s been a bad 3 months and my RA has been flaring the whole time with little I could take other than paracetamol.

Suffering post surgery
I ended up back in urgent care after
surgery
due to brutal headaches and
chest
pain and have too many medicines, but I just want to hit fast forward six days when I have my followup with the surgeon to get the splints removed. Watching TV is painful. Audio books and books hurt.

3 weeks post CABG surgery
He is also experiencing some upper back/shoulder pain, whether from the
surgery
or
chest
infection I’m not sure. Is this also a common occurrence? Any tips to try and relieve this?

Waiting forever for Heart MRI
Apparently 3 month wait for an appointment before they decide if I need
surgery
. In the meantime I cannot do anything without
chest
pain, breathlessness and coughing. Has anyone else had to wait ages for treatment, when they have been told it is urgent?

New, A Bit Scared, Would Appreciate Advice.
Last summer I developed awful
chest
pain, phoned my
surgery
who told me to go to A&E after waiting for hours having bloods, ECG etc, was told it was most likely indigestion 😒. So came home. The pain appeared to subside but then a few days later it came back.

B vits
I think I need to start taking b vits again as feeling very foggy brained, apathetic etc. I stopped as ineggus b complex seemed to be exacerbating a pain under my right rib. I stopped taking them and the pain ceased. I tried one tablet again last week and the pain returned. I’ve had a chest x ray and

Echo results.
Hi I have afib, not usually too often but have had a few episodes this year. On all the usual meds. Have just been given an inhaler as hyperinflated patches were found on my lungs in a chest x ray. Anyway had the results of my latest echocardiogram yesterday and was wondering if you good people can interpret

Sometimes the solution is simple !
Getting through the winter isn’t isn’t easy, is it friends ? This one was a long one and once the spring is on its way my energy levels, enthusiasm and motivation get going and life opens up again. It didn’t happen this year though. Asthma COPD for 21 years….was it all getting to the body ? No energy

Ibrance side effects
I am on Ibrance 125 mg and letrozole and I have bloody nose constantly and bleeding gums. I have a cold and slight cough. Not bacterial because I had recent chest x-ray and blood tests. I have mets to lungs. But no infection on my lungs. I see my oncologist next week. I am thinking a dose reduction
