Post bypass surgery exercise
Hi guys So I'm 6 weeks post double bypass op. My cardio rehab team have referred me to the local gym. However, in hindsight I've decided it's not for me. I can't face going to the gym, come out in a sweat just thinking about it! I was just wondering do you have any recommendations for home fitness

I’m on waiting list for single or possible double
bypass
surgery
, and I asked one GP about jogging, they said no, just waking and keep on the flat, no hills. Asked a different GP and they yes, carry on, but stop if get chest pains or palpitations.

exercise after bypass surgery
had bypass a year ago and finally getting back to the gym - been taking it easy (possibly too easy) this last year as concerned that something may go “wrong” - but got to get back on with life - so does anyone can say that my heart/arteries are good as a normal heart and can push myself as much as I

Hiya, went to Sheffield northern general mon 22nd April, told by consultant that I need triple if not quadruple
bypass
surgery
, considered urgent but 3-4month waiting list, my sisters have rang different places to find that some do keyhole or through a vein in the wrist operations, what’s your opinion

waiting times
hello, Just curious on how long some folk had to wait before they had
bypass
surgery
. I’ve spoken to a couple of gentlemen, one has been waiting for nearly two years for his tripple bypass and the other waited a year and half for his quad bypass.

Pre diabetes post bypass surgery?
I had an alarming text from my GP surgery telling me the result of a blood test showed that I’m pre diabetic and that I could enroll onto a programme to improve my lifestyle! I was absolutely shocked . I contacted my GP surgery (using the irritating on line form /application for advice of doom 🤦🏼)

wound care
It’s been 4 weeks now since my
bypass
surgery
. All is going fine. When is it ok to use soap and water on my chest wound or have a bath? Up to now I have been rinsing in shower and patting dry. It is healing fine.

Possible carotid artery problem discovered 3 weeks after double heart bypass surgery.
My hubby has been home for 2 weeks after his
bypass
surgery
, and because of an ongoing vision problem, it's now suspected that his carotid artery also has blockage(s) and clots are happening. He's going to have an ultrasound urgently. Poor man, still very much recovering from surgery.

Waiting for bypass
Unable to stents lad put balloon stents in, on dual platelet therapy while waiting to get on

list. Wait is making me very anxious. Managed to keep up moderate excersise. But don't understand why they want to see how I go on, surely it will only get worse.

2 weeks after Bypass surgery
Good morning everyone 😊 Sorry for the delayed update. On 15 Jan I underwent CABG x3. I was in ICU on the ventilator for 24 hours after op as there was a bleed on my chest that they needed to correct before waking me up. I was completely unaware of any of this, my first memory was a 3am phone call from
