I'm currently on sertide and being switched over to symbicort. I'm not sure of the dosage etc as need to discuss further with gp. I'm a little concerned as been on seretide for years. When I get switched it triggers flares and I've already had loads of time of work. I work part time. I also think I'm

I was told a week ago to stop all my medication due to a chest infection and WBC being too low. I've been off my hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate for over a week now and weirdly my joints and swelling has been the best it's been for over 2 years. I feel perplexed has a 2 year flare just finished

Biological therapy.
I have been reading through all the posts on biological therapy.I have literally this week just heard that I qualify for Tezspire. The wait time is about 4 weeks. I am wondering who else is having this / had it and how they are getting on . Thank you.

I have been on methotrexate for 20 years for RA. I started at 10 mg. Went to 15mg fairly promptly and then 20mg last year. In general I had no side effects and good quality of life. Recently I started to have a lot of flares and my rheumatologist has recommended a biologic. He said I could try upping

Greater use of Benlysta, Saphnelo seen in US, EU to treat lupus
Goal to reduce long-term glucocorticoids use to prevent side effects
In both the U.S. and Europe, clinicians want to limit treatment with glucocorticoids — steroid hormones whose long-term use for autoimmune diseases is tied to serious side effects — among people with moderate to severe lupus

Understanding Lung Conditions: Types, Symptoms, and Treatments
The human respiratory system is a marvel of biological engineering, enabling us to breathe in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide, crucial for our survival. However, like any intricate system, it is susceptible to various conditions that can hinder its function. Lung conditions encompass a broad spectrum

Just Tired
Hi Everyone - this is such a valuable community. I just wanted to vent a little. Are any parents on this journey just feeling tired? We have weathered the nasty teachers, the disinterested teachers, the play therapy, the behavior therapy, the unconventional treatments, the medications, the school

Moving forward
Before my diagnosis, I had various symptoms that I could not control, and afterward would lose parts of my memories, it was people's names and events later I had a seizure but sometimes in my sleep. It was either when I was fully awake and alert and I could see my surroundings but then if I did have

B.A.T and Provenge trial.
After 9mo the Arv-766 started to fail. I will be starting a combination therapy trial through Yale using B.A.T. And Provenge. This is the first time I’ve heard of such a combo. There are only 6 of us in this trial. Is there anyone else on this trial or have any experience with using both treatments

school anxiety
I’m in speech therapy grad school, something I’ve worked towards for a VERY long time. I made so many sacrifices to be here and I got a C in a clinical experience. In my program you have to get a B to pass and move forward. I have to redo this clinical experience and any time I have a meeting for it

Supporting evidence for PIP
I’m ploughing through the online form and it keeps saying about supporting evidence. I was diagnosed in 2021 by my then GP in the midlands over the Covid period - so not many doctor visits. Not much prescribed, using paracetamol and/or ibuprofen as and when necessary. Basically have been self-managing

“I have never really been a sun worshipper but I have used sunbeds in the past. I used to hire one for use at home in my late teens/early 20’s then used the stand-up ones on and off at tanning salons a few years after that. I never thought there was any harm in using sunbeds and I can’t remember seeing
