supplements to help DA withdrawal
I am wondering if anyone has used natural supplements like
amino
acids
to increase dopamine while tapering off Pramaprexole? I have wondered if it would help with the decrease in dopamine while tapering. Also has anyone used Modafinil with any luck in helping energy and mood?

Amino acid complex, is it worth trying?
I have been seeing more and more about
amino
acids
and the possible benefits for those with hypothyroidism. Their importance for conversion, also their benefits regarding liver health. I'm also type2 diabetic, it seems there may be benefits there too. Have any of you looked into this?

Energy-starved breast cancer cells consume their surroundings for fuel, research suggest
Without those
amino
acids
, cells on plastic fared poorly compared to those in one or the other matrix. Similar results were seen with other matrix models—the tumor cells were able to overcome the reduction of
amino
acids
when surrounded by matrix.

Is anyone here familiar with metabolomic analysis?
In short, if I understood correctly, it differs from regular blood tests by looking for the concentration of things (like
amino
acids
, minerals, polyphenol, etc...) within your cells rather than the concentration in your blood.

weight
I cut out dairy products and most carbohydrates but I am cautious about recommending that as eating too much protein and not enough calcium to remove the
amino
acids
may have caused the kidney stones which I have developed. I should think most of those who teased you are overweight now!

Dietary Approaches to Improve Efficacy and Control Side Effects of Levodopa Therapy in Parkinson's Disease: A Systematic Review
I wonder if you could still take the

a few hours away from the C/L. Folate, B6 and B12 remain important. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8634393/ -Syd

Muscle wasting?
The fluid brings
amino
acids
that deposit in the muscles. So the muscles get stronger. Is anyone using creatine for this weakness?

Vital Role of B12 and Folate
It is involved in the production of
cysteine
, the
other sulfur-containing
acids
(such as Sam-e) used to build proteins in the body.

Confused about BCAAs
I don’t understand the results of studies on branched chain
amino
acids
and cirrhosis. There seems to be conflicting data. Has anyone tried taking BCAAs to build muscle and can you shed some light on the subject?

Should I be concerned about high levels of Iron
Between the two tests I made some supplement changes I started taking Thorne Basic B, 1 capsule daily, stopped taking selenium as it was clear I was overdosing, started taking zinc and also
amino
acids
. My GP made no mention of the test results.

I eat a plant based diet, taking perfect aminos to supplement so I get good quality easy to absorb essential
amino
acids
. I take zinc, B12, and omega 3. I do not drink any alchohol. Eat sugar not more than 1 time a week if that and enjoy it.
