I don't know if this well help anybody but even if it helps one person, then that would be great. I haven't posted on here for a very long time but feel I have to today as I recently went to a private doctor for a burst ear drum. Does anyone know anything about low SigA levels and links with b12 deficiency please?
Hi…I’ve recently read an article, but can’t find it at mo! that low SigA levels along with high gastrin levels can indicate b12 deficiency. It caught my attention as on 2 previous tests, a stool and a saliva test, the SigA was included and very low both times which says can give rise to infections, allergies

I am on MTX and COSENTYX I have had hay fever in the past, but not for several years. This weekend I am struggling desperately. Is it safe to take anti histamine while on these medications? Can't find a local pharmacist to ask today

Asthma getting worse as spring allergies increase
I was recently given a new inhaler to take along with Dulera,Ventolin, and singular - it is called Inspiolto Respimat.I was wondering if that means my asthma is getting worse? The new puffer is for COPD, but I don't have that.

Blood pressure, heart rate and food allergies
Some time ago I read a piece of research on the effect of a person having unknown food allergies and the effect of it on BP and heart rate It involved taking BP and heart rate before rising and then every 30 mins in a day. It gave the expected variations and results that might indicate a good intolerance

Hello, I have been struggling with allergic asthma for a while and I started to see the side effects of the medications I take. Are there any things you have ever done that caused your asthma to decreased? I would be very happy if you can share with me your tips :)

UCTD and penicillin allergy and use of hydroxychloroquine
Hi all - I’ve just been diagnosed with UCTD (after many years of symptoms!☹️ ) and have been prescribed Hydroxychloroquine. Consultant gave me a leaflet where it says macrolide antibiotics, such as erythromycin, are contraindicated. I’m allergic to penicillin, so my go-to if I do get an infection is

PAF from allergy/hay fever remedies?
I’ve had increasingly frequent episodes of PAF recently. Last year I went for over a year without any PAF before having an episode in December. I had another episode 3 months later in March of this year and now a third episode only 11 days later. I’m concerned that the condition is becoming more frequent

New allergies/intolerance/sensitivities
Do you find you have developed new allergies/intolerance/sensitivities since having hashimoto's or hypothyroidism? My biggest has been becoming dairy intolerant. But have developed other weird ones too... -unable to use certain toothpastes, no idea why -can't touch plastic to my lips as it itches

I am not sure what to do…
I adopted kitten recently, something I have wanted for a long long time. I love her so much. But, the past week, my asthma has been so out of control that I had to go to the ER on Friday night. My airways just closed up. I was prescribed an epipen in case it happens again. The last thing I want to

Apixaban allergy
Am I the only one on this site allergic to both Riveroxaban and apixaban ? First I could not stop itching and then I came out in hard dry itchy patches! I am trying now to take an allergy tablet with apixaban every day and see how that works. I was on warfarin for 15 years without any problems. So
