Agoraphobia
In my opinion,
agoraphobia
is a "learned behavior" stemming from panic attacks. I know I've beaten this before(but not panic attacks) but have forgotten how. Anyone else?? Thanx

agoraphobia
When I was a child I developed
agoraphobia
and anxiety. It. got better but now in my late 60s it has returned along with a fear of driving limiting my life. I am seeing a therapist and anxiety and took a driving lesson last week. I am very upset and it has resulted in losing friends.

Agoraphobia - Anxiety
I’m now 26 and was diagnosed with
Agoraphobia
. Anxiety has always been there, but the
agoraphobia
has progressed over the last few years. Besides going to work, even thinking of leaving my “safe space” makes me sick to the stomach. Sweats, palpitations, nausea - you name it.

Ive been struggling with
agoraphobia
for the past 4 years. I dont know where to turn to anymore because ive done all the teeatments, meds, even all the unhealthy coping skills. I panic as soon as i leave the house. Hence, my husband and kids are suffering too, so i feel like a total failure.

Feeling lonely
Social anxiety and
agoraphobia
keeps me from going out and being myself and making connections with others in my life. I don't mean to post a 'oh poor me' post again. But I'm just getting it out instead sitting here and and get more depressed.

New to this
Good evening all, I recently found out about this support group from a webinar I watched on
agoraphobia
from Dr. Karen Cassiday. I have not been formally diagnosed with
agoraphobia
, but my current counselor believes this could be the case.

Has anyone had a bad experience with Zoloft? Side Effects?
This is the 4th antidepressant I will be trying as I have
agoraphobia
as well. I'm wondering what, if any, side effects people have had. Weight gain? Nausea? etc. Any info is appreciated as I'm super skeptical about starting something new during the holiday season!

I have
agoraphobia
, anxiety, depression, and ptsd. I also have a seizure disorder so I’m unable to drive and it’s very difficult for me to leave my apartment. This is my first post. I’m just looking for people to connect with that have similar issues or are familiar with these issues.
