Hi all,
I hoping someone has been through similar so I can connect with someone who has similar feelings.
I've just been diagnosed with stage 4 endo. My womb, ovaries, tubes and appendix have all stuck to my bowels. I am in terrible pain when passing my bowels on a daily basis so I had a colonscopy last Thursday where it was found that my appendix has now pushed through into my intestine (inverted appendix). It is midly swollen and full of mucus. I then had a ct scan and now just waiting.
I'm so annoyed as I got admitted to hospital 2 years ago with suspected appendicitis but got gas lit that it was a cyst. Fast forward to now, for 2 years I saw not a single gyne but had letters for blood work and scans to be treated for a cyst which finally after a diagnostic lap 4 weeks ago, they can't even see my ovaries let alone a cyst.
The pain in my lower right is always there and I'm sure it's because of my appendix being so severly affected by endo. Has anyone else had an inverted appendix due to endo?
I'm now waiting for my appt at Stoke endo clinic but also under a colonrectal specialist who did the colonscopy last week (who might I add is incredible and the only one who is listening and doing something about it)
Much loves,
