So Dexy5 read my post and thought I should post it over here. I wrote this on Monday 15th February.
The plan is 9 weeks but it took me 17 weeks to complete as I now know I was going to fast for a beginner runner and kept having to stop to walk on the longer runs . But I learned eventually and kept asking for advice and it worked. So here goes :-
2 years ago today I graduated from c25k. I'm so glad I took up running and I always say it , I couldn't have done it without the support on here.
I still get people asking if I'm still running and they say ' oh I can't run ' and I tell them neither could I but I found a brilliant plan and a supportive forum.
I knew nothing about cadence, pace and didn't even use km , it was always miles.
Had never heard about Garmin watches, which I now love my watch and never ever thought I'd be wearing lycraπ€£
So to sum up, I love running , I love the way its made me feel so positive and calm and I've managed countless 5k's, 10k's quite a few 10 miles and 3 HM'S in the past year.
I'm getting a bit soppy now but I'm sure you'll all understand.
Happy running allππππββοΈπββοΈ
