A long journey ahead.

I’m 54 and am struggling to control my alcohol abuse, I’m an alcoholic, I’m currently on day three of sobriety, the longest I have gone without in the last 15 years is 46 days and I felt great ! But Christmas family dinner happened and seeing everyone else drinking I gave in. The only problem is they don’t have a problem with alcohol like me and it led to a massive binge, so on and off since then I have tried to control alcohol but unfortunately it controls me. I am now hoping to abstain forever because if I don’t it’s going to kill me, for sure.
