The story...
Back on March my GP tested my tsh (as part of cfs testing) and it was 1.88.
Start of April I caught a virus and then the week after onwards my symptoms gradually were increasing and I missed a few days of work.
April 19 (I think it was) I got my tsh, t3 and t4 done via Medichecks. My tsh was then 4.21. Was able to get an increase in levo from 50 to 75 from a very reluctant doctor that wasn't my usual one. Took about 4 days or so before I got the prescription.
By then I was feeling soooo many low thyroid symptoms I've been off work since. Maybe about a week ago I started having some extremely slow progress towards improving bit nowhere near a level that would allow me back to work or normal activities.
Is it worth contacting my own GP Monday about how I am still feeling? I've been passed around to different GPs lately and I am fed up with that and only want to speak to my own GP.
Is there any point contacting though? I assume the only thing that could have been done was testing or a dose increase but as I already had both in April it's far too soon for either again... Also feels like too soon to feel any results. Other than I stopped getting worse and feel hungry sometimes, I don't really feel the effects of that dose increase yet.
Feeling in such despair and seems there is nothing I can do to help myself feel better.
As for vitamins, I stared better ones last month (got a finger wag already for changing too much at once) and it's too soon to test to see if that is helping.
