How much are you taking? Do you have an option to play about with the dose or time of day you take it? I take one sachet per day before I go to bed. I didn't have any bloating so can't say whether it will stop, but your diarrhoea should stop.

I take 1 sachet before bed. I didn’t know if I should start doing 1/2 to see if that helps.

I take 1 sachet an evening. I still get slightly bloated and cramps/pains, but it stops the urgent need to go the to toilet and the explosive diarrhoea.

That’s where I’m at now. It’s been almost a week for me. The urgency has gotten better but still have diarrhea. Does it get better the longer you’re on it

You need to give it a few weeks but also consider increasing the dose. I was told to do 1 once a day for a week, then 2 a day for a week (you can take 2 together max or split one night and one morning/during day) then 3 etc until you find what works. I did one then two but after a while found I was constipated so dropped back to one and take loperamide sometimes too. I know people that take half measures or even up to 6. It’s finding what works for you.

I suffered for over 20 years until I finally got diagnosed. It’s common to get this after gallbladder removal, but I still have mine. I’ve seen dieticians and received conflicting advice as I have other conditions. I’ve tried cutting out wheat and dairy. Low fodmap diet. Anyway, it really is finding what suits you and would foods you can/can’t eat. I can’t eat anything remotely fatty, eggs, garlic, beans, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, caffeine, aspartame to name a few! I’m good with white carbs like bread, potatoes, rice, but have to be careful as I got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes last year too. Fun eh!

My problem is crohns last 15 years finally found a dr who listened, as I’m seeing it common. Had 10 inches of intestines removed last month feel 100 better from that aspect just have the constant D. Now on questran to see if it helps. So far so good 😊
