This info from the Michael J. Fox institute might be of interest to other followers of this site. The topic is dealing with the pain associated with Parkinson's disease (PD). Perhaps there is some advice relevant to PMR- from which I have suffered for more than a decade. In my circle of long standing friends in Canada and abroad, I know a half dozen or more with PD- I'm the only one to have drawn PMR and GCA as my longstanding medical curses.
Best of luck. FYI :

Pain can be a part of living with Parkinson’s for up to 75 percent of people. Whether it’s from stiff muscles or dystonia, nerve pain or constipation, many people report pain as one of their most troubling non-motor symptoms. In this Third Thursdays Webinar, our expert panel will discuss pain and PD — why it occurs, treatment options and practical life tips for coping with pain. Join us to learn more about standard and alternative treatment options for managing pain.
Our experts will answer questions from the audience that are submitted in advance and also through the Q&A box during the webinar.
Once you register, you will receive an email from “Michael J. Fox Foundation Webinar” with a link to watch the webinar. You will receive this email automatically upon registering, two days before and two hours before the live event.
