Has anyone had to have a cystoscopy and urethral dilation due to endo causing bladder issues?

What bladder issues can endo cause? I have bladder issues but never linked the two

I had a bladder and ureatha stretch done a few years ago after several years of recurrent pain and uti's. Had all the possible tests done through urology and they all came back clear. So the stretch was the only option, it did not work for me but it wasn't until I was referred to a second gynaecologist last sept that I was told all my bladder problems were linked to my stage 4 severe endo

I've had bladder issues- urge incontinence and low bladder capacity. I never linked these with my endo as I've only recently been diagnosed with endo. However it seems they are linked and now i need to have these procedures, as well as another op to remediate the endo. As this is (again) all new to me, I'm trying to find out the after effects/recovery is like after the cystoscopy and urethral dilatation. Any advice/shared experiences, much appreciated! X

I had my laparoscopy for endo in July as well as a full bladder dystension where they diagnosed interstitial cystitis. The endo wasn't the cause of the IC but certainly aggravates it. The dystension helped for a few weeks but i control all symptoms with diet.

What diet are you following? I've seen info on the endo diet and have recently started to eliminate wheat and sugar, also limiting dairy as well. Is there anything specific that helps with bladder issues?
