My wife has late stage PD and experiences this among other things. In the absence of better advice from those who should know I manage it with a half tab of 30mg Oxazepam which would tend to suggest an anxiety link, the reason it ws prescribed in the first place. In her case it also helped with nausea on occasions. In her case it takes approx 15 to 20 minutes to take effect. Hope this helps. Cheers
Yes - I get it. I was told it is related to my asthma. It feels like the start of an asthma attack to me so it makes sense. I don't have anxiety issues so it's not anxiety for me. I am fine once the next dose kicks in, It does not happen between every dose. I wish I knew why.... one of those mysteries of C/L medication...
I got respiratory dyskinesia (my diaphragm would spasm) when I had wear off from a dopamine agonist. It went away when I stopped the agonist.
Hi Rupa88, my husband is identical to staceysack. But my husband doesn't have asthma or anxiety. It also doesn't happen inbetween doses, only at wearing off. Definitely a mystery and once he is ON again - it's gone, usually around 30 mins to 1 hr.
