Well, honesty I also do not see a huge advantage. I am not that informed on these treatments as for me it’s too late (unless by some miracle the metastasis reduced in a spectacular way!), but I thought it was worth publishing!

It's an extension of the Rezum treatment for BPH. That received a lot of publicity. I know someone who had his BPH treated with it and seemed to be OK. I'm a bit suspicious as the company behind this believes in making a big hoo-haa through press releases and this appears to be the case here as well.
