Moving houses

As the title suggests, my family and I are moving to a new house and I’m a nervous wreck. New beginnings scare me! I’m trying to see this move in a positive light, but all I can think of is the things that could go wrong. I know some people that move to different countries (different continents even!), and here I am nervous about moving to house that’s only 15 minutes away from the one we’re currently in. It’s kind of funny when I think about it.

I totally understand what you are feeling.

I made a move almost a year ago. I had been in my house for 30 years. It was time to downsize so it was a voluntary move but I was so emotionally attached. I lost it, cried and couldn't eat etc.... it was a great way to lose 10 pounds.

Once my house was empty, it didn't feel the same anymore. It was at that point I was able to let go. I still miss so many things about it but I do love my new house.

I wish you the best of luck. It was a grieving process for me.
