After taking antibiotics and not eating for over a week I am now out having g a night with my lovely husband in Newcastle eating food omg Hope this is OK xxxx

I had the best day night in Newcastle ate some delicious food and had more alcohol than I've had in a long while. I took a ton of meds to be able to enjoy the day night including colesevelam 35 loperimide buscopan 12. I am now paying the price checkout in 20 min and I can't get off the loo. Pray for shaz!! Xxx

I’m so pleased to hear you were able to get out for a much longed for meal, being unable to eat really makes you appreciate it when you can! There’s so much focus on food and drink at Christmas which is hard when you’re having to starve yourself! Like you I was 27 when I was diagnosed, I had a misreported negative smear test so the tumour was discovered when I was in labour 3 years later. I’m considering asking my gp to refer me to a specialist as I feel he has done all he can with his knowledge & getting episodes of obstruction very frequently so unable to eat a lot of the time. Did u ask your gp or gastroenterologist to do the referral? I’d be keen to know how long the wait time is. Hoping you get the help you desperately need.

I've asked both the gp and my gastroenterologist hopefully one will do it gp are not being very forthcoming as the referral will cost them. Its all about money!!!
