These are really relevant topics and very interesting to read other peoples insights into their experiences.

I’m a 35 year old mum of 2 boys (6 and 2 years old). We now live in the country which is an adventure in itself. I used to work in children’s intensive care as a nurse which I loved but fancied a change and now run around after the boys working as their personal taxi drivers, chef, maid and cIeaner, that is until my darling, incredible husband comes home and I do a brief handover about the usual insanity and pointing out the new danger sports of jumping from and on to various bits of funiture. (Our older son does parkour and taekwondo lessons and our younger one loves to copy!). The level of current exhaustion is usually discussed and we compete to see who is the most tired. I then go to bed and have ‘me time’ which is basically instantly falling a sleep and then being woken by one or both children and the cats all wanting a space in the bed. I was unfortunately diagnosed in 2008 with relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis which challenges us as a family and me as a parent everyday. However apart from the occasional moments of feelings sorry for myself I think my previous job had given me an insight in remembering just how lucky I am, and to live in the moment and not worry too much about what could happen.

Hi Mum35 , thanks so much for sharing a bit about you. It sounds like you really do have your hands full, and all that with an MS diagnosis really can't be easy.

I'm glad you've been enjoying the topics so far - I hope you find this community to be a helpful and supportive place. Looking forward to hearing more from you :)
