Sorry to hear about the complication. Pulmonary Hypertension co-occurring with a MPN is a significant issue. Intervention is certainly needed. I have heard of balloon angioplasty as an intervention. It may be the right choice but needs to be reviewed with a MPN Specialist as part of the treatment team.

Glad to hear it helped. Sometimes our teams do not have the answers, just best guesses. Some decisions are judgement calls. I experienced that when I had to decide about the brain surgery to remove the tumor. No clear answers about whether to do it. Just had to use the best judgment I could.
No matter what you decide, you will find support here.
How long ago was you PE? I had a submassive bilateral PE 6 months ago. My right heart pressures were high at the time. I was concerned it would become chronic pulmonary hypertension. However 6 months later, the pressures have returned to normal. I am on lifelong Apixaban. I am wondering how long since you had your PE?
