Hello, I've been on oestrogen and progesterone HRT since last summer and it's making me feel a great deal better generally. But I've found that during the two weeks of the cycle where I'm not on the progesterone, I get very anxious. Is there any way of taking the progesterone all month? I'm on two progesterone tablets daily for 2 weeks of the cycle. Might taking one a day for the other two weeks be an option? Thanks

you can but depends on your age and they recommend being on HRT for a year first if you still having periods before starting
Thank you, Belle I've been on it 8 months, will ask nurse. Do you know if taking progesterone all month stops periods?
it can do you might experience spotting while your body adjusts to the new regime, you might need to change the progesterone you take, also depends on how high a dose of oestrogen you are on too. I believe if your dose is over 100 you need to take 2 every day.
Look up menopausal not mad website there’s also a Facebook page HRT the truth collective, also dr Louise Newson website. These are very informative
