No. HealthUnlocked does not give out medical advice. We provide the technology for patient groups and users to share their health experiences and information. If you have a question, you should post it in one of our communities.
How do I sign up for HealthUnlocked?
Find your community, click the community you would like to join, and once on the community homepage click the yellow button "Join today".
When you're signed in to HealthUnlocked click the Feedback tab on the right. Compose and send us a message containing the new username you would like to change to. It must be at least 4 characters and cannot contain spaces. Our team will respond to you as soon as possible.
How do I change my profile picture?
When you're signed in to HealthUnlocked move the mouse over your username at the top right toolbar, then click Profile. Next, click Upload New under your existing profile picture. Click the Choose File button to select the image file you want.

How do I change my password?
When you're signed in to HealthUnlocked move the mouse over your username at the top right toolbar, then click Settings. Click Change next to your password. Enter your current password and choose and confirm your new password. Click save when you're finished.
How do I change my email address?
When you're signed in to HealthUnlocked move the mouse over your username at the top right toolbar, then click Settings. Click Change next to your email address. Enter and confirm your new address. Click save when you're finished.
How do I change my email notification preferences?
When you're signed in to HealthUnlocked move the mouse over your username at the top right toolbar, then click Email Notifications. On this page you can choose what notifications you receive and how often. Click save when you're finished.
How do I deactivate my account?
When you're signed in to HealthUnlocked move the mouse over your username at the top right toolbar, then click Settings. Click I want to delete my HealthUnlocked account. To confirm this select the check box Yes, I want to delete my HealthUnlocked account and click Delete account.
How do I change my data sharing settings?
When you're signed in to HealthUnlocked move your mouse over your name at the top right toolbar, then click Data Sharing. Use the check boxes to modify your settings. When you're finished click Save.
Dealing with abuse
What should I report?
You can report any content you come across in the platform which you find offensive, abusive, inappropriate or which you feel may be spam.
What happens when I report content?
When you report content the moderation team at HealthUnlocked and the community admins are notified and will take the appropriate action.
How do I report content?
To report content, click the Report link next to anything you would like to report. Enter a short reason for reporting and click Submit to send your report.
