Why do I get random sharp pains on left side of my head?

When and what do you usually eat? If you skip or delay meals, sometimes a person can have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

I copyedit for a journal on headaches, and one thing I know is that they take all sorts of forms. If it's causing you problems, go see your doctor and hopefully they will do some investigation.
