Apologises if posted somewhere before, but it was the date of this article and the recommended Care Model that caught my eye, I was searching for "rule in" signs for FND to post.

Hopefully now the medical professional are beginning to see the light that FND "is real" and not cause suffers additional stress and anxiety they will begin to realise a multi-disciplinary timely approach is key.

I really don't understand why the 'gurus' of fnd in the uk have not been pushing for this model of care (quote .. A patient-centered integrated team approach to care is needed for many FND patients) to be set up at the regional neuro centres. It's all very well saying fnd is 'reversible', but we need some constructive help in getting it reversed ..and made available at a local level. Too many patients, are getting no treatment, part treatment or discharge after unsuccessful treatment. not to mention treatment promised in .. how many months was it? Grrr...
