hi I’ve not been on for a while I’ve had numerous A&E visits over the last couple of months last Monday it was suspected I had a heart murmur and 1 of my meds was stopped as I was getting very dizzy.I’ve been referred for an echo.

On Thursday I went very dizzy/confused and started slurring my words, my son thought I was having a stroke, an ambulance was called and I was admitted out on a drip for fluids.

3 diff doctors examined me but couldn’t hear a heart murmur, however I now have pre syncope caused by orthostatic hypotension/dehydration/low levels of salt.

I couldn’t fault the staff they really were wonderful and I’ve come away with a referral for an echo, 3 day Holter monitor and I’m back under Cardiology until I’m picked up by the Refractory Clinic.

it mainly affects me on standing but can also happen when sitting/lying down too.

Hope everyone is as well is can be warmer weather is on the way!!

Xx
