I’ve been busy and doing well lately. The weather is finally warming up so getting to spend lots of time outside. For Mother’s Day, my kids, oldest grandson and husband all took me to the beach (my happy place) for a picnic lunch and then ice cream.
Also, our new office at work is opening the middle of next month so my time working from home (since October) is winding down. As much as it makes me stir crazy being home constantly, I’m finding myself getting anxious about going back too. I know it’ll all work out, it’s more change.
Because of all this, the anxiety symptoms have all been rearing their ugly heads the last couple weeks.
My hubby and I have some vacation planned in a couple weeks and the end of July so I’m looking forward to it but hoping this anxiety leaves by then.
Thanks for listening to me air my thoughts.

I have friends going through this same transition, heading back to the office. I'm sure many of your coworkers are feeling the same way. I hope you can all support each other and get through this together
Glad you’re doing well Grandma, and in happy places. Sorry about the heightened anxiety. Don’t give it too much thought. Just ride it out. Sounds like the totally natural response to such a big change of work environment. Sending you a hug. Deep breathing exercises. 🙏🏻
Hello. I'm glad you're going back to the office. I spent one and a half years working from home during the pandemic, and like you, it made me stir crazy. I was also anxious about going back to work, but it was good for me and ended up being a positive experience. You sound like you have a lot going on and even though some of it is positive, it could be causing your anxiety. I'm sure things will die down after you are through this period of transition.
