I wake up (as soon as I open my eyes) feeling like I am having a panic attack with my heart racing and blood pressure sky high. I shake and struggle to breathe. This last until my BP goes down. Anyone else who experience this?

When I took Sotalol it did nothing for me. Have you tried the pill Flecainide? That appears to be the medicine most people on this forum get on well with. I feel you need to report how this drug is making you feel to your GP, or whoever prescribed it. Please don't just carry on feeling the way you are.
