Has anyone had fever as a side effect of the metoprolol or Eliquis. It is a side effect but not one of the more common ones. Side effects are on drugs.com. Thanks

My side effects of Eliquis are: hematoom or red spots underneath my underlip. Sometimes headaches. And last But not least: ugly skin. (Skin of somebody of 120 years old. ) Terrible!

I wish that's all I had. I've got a whole page. Headaches, vision blurry, while body aches, chest pain, causes my temperature to go up within a couple hours of taking it, tingling in arms and legs, memory problems. Digestion problems. Don't feel like eating. Stopped the metoprolol because of similar side effects. It was causing me to lose weight. Still am and I look like I'm anorexic. Plus the skin issues. Losing hair. No interest in doing anything. Don't even bother to shower some days and I 've always been a clean freak. Same with cleaning the house. Too weak and tired. Medicine has it's good place in life but not when it takes your QOL away.

- losing hair, losing hair, sore arms,

Poor visibility, tinnitus , paralyzed feelings in left foot, wounds in month, fear during driving in car, breath shortage

Temperature increase during a few seconds

pain in jaw when chewing...

Conclusion: This medicijn is poison for my body!

Yes it is.

Check out Dr Wolfson. He has a book "The Paleo Cardiologist". You can get a copy on his website drs wolfson.com. (His wife is a chiropractor and so they both believe that keeping the body in alignment is important. Read about the vagus nerve too and it's affect on afib. ) Lives in Arizona. Became a holistic Dr in 2012. Didn't like the way patients weren't getting good treatment. He's expensive as heck doesn't take insurance. Kind of full of himself but what he says is true. He has strict guidelines to follow which no way can I ever afford. That seems to be the one thing he DOESN'T understand. That we aren't all rolling in the dough. But he does offer some good ideas just the same. I see the cardio Dr tomorrow and am dreading it. I don't have any faith he'll want to do anything except more drugs or ablation. Nope. It's why people perish. Not from what's ailing them but from poor care and the drugs. And then people like me who can't afford to find a decent Dr. It's just wrong. I sometimes think the devil rules more than we realize. Good luck with your appt too. May God be in our corners.

That book costs only shipping. Around $8. Takes awhile to receive with mail moving slower. Also drugs.com to look up side effects of drugs, interactions with other drugs and people also post reviews on how they do on the drugs. You can read them. They don't seem to be doing well on these afib drugs either. A few do okay but a very few. 😒

Thank you! I will check the website. I have an appointment end of October. I hate those appointments. More pills , more this, more that. 🤮

I can't and won't do any more pills. I also have mitral valve regurgitation. Which is supposed to be mild and they only keep an eye on it when it's mild. Guess what? The cardio has never told me I have it. 😠I found out because my primary didn't get full results of all my tests they did when I was admitted to the hospital for Afib. So I went there and had copies sent to her and got copies for myself. That's when I found out from my copies. Called primary and she told me about the valve. She also slipped and said if it got worse when I get older (I'm 68) they would probably just give me more meds. What she meant was that the crummy insurance I have probably wouldn't pay for surgery to fix it. Which I think I knew already. So all lives don't matter. At least to the medical system. All depends on what I find out tomorrow at cardio. If not good I'm definitively not taking any more of the poison and will try some of the natural supplements that Dr Wolfson talks about and others on this forum say work for them. Geez I feel too sick today to do anything. I can feel my temp has gone up. It was normal when I got up this morning. Take care. Hate that you can't see Dr til Oct. Ridiculous isn't it?
