Missed beats

Not sure what’s going on lately but I’m experiencing lots of missed/extra beats all day every day for last two week, I’m up to the brompton for my check up next week so will be asking all about them.... I’ve even stopped running as they’re quite debilitating.... felt great for most of the year after ablation but this has hit me for six a bit

It's nearly 3 years since my ablation but lately I've been experiencing missed and extra beats. Dr Sanjay Gupta's video on the connection between stomach and heart was interesting as mine seemed to occur after my lunch.

On Tuesday I transmitted the last three months' information from my loop recording implant to Blackpool RVI and had a letter back yesterday saying sinus rhythm with isolated ventricular ectopics. No events of AF.

If you can afford it you might want to invest in a kardia machine.

This would tell you if you are in af and also provide your doctors with a history of events and ecg readings.

I’ve got a kardia, touch wood so far no af, but only last two weeks I’ve had lots of missed/extra beats, up until then I’ve been great, lost two stone and got back to some light running
