Bisoprolol

I was on bisoprolol for 8 days and developed terrible depression and low mood so I've stopped it that was 2 days ago should I go back to my doctor as I need to get out of this depressed feel I'm walking about as tho I'm in a dream will this disappear on its own or will the doctor prescribe something I'm so tears with this bisoprolol defo not for me .

Go back to your GP. It might or might not settle down. Knowing bisoprolol as I do it probably won't. They can give you an alternative, altho probably it won't be as good as bisoprolol. What were you on it for ? AF ?

Hi Harry, yes please talk to your GP he may be able to prescribe something more suitable for you. It's not good to leave your heart racing without medication, could damage it. I take another beta blocker called Metoprolol which suits me well.

What dose were you on? I had the same problem and am now on the lowest dose and feel fine again.

I suffered the same symptoms on Bisoprolol & Wafarin, I got a referral from my GP to see a consultant, I'm now on Diltiazem and Asprin, much much better.

I take bisoprolol 2.5mg with no side effects, If I was you yes I would go back to my GP and tell him or her of your concerns . Good Luck .
