Hip pain

Been diagnosed with IBS but from reading other posts I realise I am getting off lightly with symptoms. Possibly microscopic colitis. I just want to know if anyone else gets a lot of pain in area of right hip?

Could this be IBS or just OA?

Thanks

hi ya

I had / have right side hip pain, I went to a physio and chiropractor they found nothing unusual, so Iv came to the conclusion it’s connected to my ibs , it’s definitely better when I’m not in a flare up oh the joys of ibs

Take care

I don't know if my experiences are relevant or have any connection with what you get, but I do get awful pain in the mornings almost every day after getting up and getting moving (I'm fine lying in bed!) My pain is in the lower back, pelvic area on each side of the spine...thus I think sacro-iliac joints. It can even cause some numbness in my left groin.

And guess what? When I've been for a #2 it goes, and I can move around much easier . From them it eases up unless I do something too strenuous with my back.

I think it's definitely got some connection with what's happening in my gut, or might even be what's called "referred pain," though I feel the back is an issue to itself, it plays kind of in tandem with my gut.

This is really interesting as it sounds similar to the pains, I've been experiencing for just under three years now. It can be debilitating at times. The pain across my lower back can be quite hard to describe but it's often worse when I first wake up and get out of bed. #2s sometimes help but not always. It's such a challenge and at the age of 43 I am really worried this is me for the rest of my life and then I can quickly spiral mentally. I have had two CT scans, an MRI scan, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and countless blood tests. All of which have come back without finding anything. However, the symptoms continue! I also have tinnitus when it's particularly bad.

I tried Nerva once and I think it helped for a little while, but I didn't see a long-term benefit.

I have lower back pain and groins. When it flairs up I can't bend over and have to straighten up very slowly. No 2 can help sometimes. Iv come to the conclusion that it is the vegus nerve trapped, and when the bowel is full it puts pressure on it. This can cause all sorts of symptoms. It makes me dizzy (brain fog) because of the gut brain connection.
