I’m just wondering what experience people have had with Clomid and a high BMI? I’m wanting to start trying for a baby next year and know I need to loose weight before hand. I have PCOS and do not ovulate or even have a period really. I will need Clomid (or something) to induce ovulation. Currently my BMI is 45, what was your BMI and do anyone know the max BMI for treatment? I’m in east lancs area. Thanks! X

max BMi at our clinic is 30 for nhs and 35 for self funded. I think all nhs is 30 from what I’ve seen but I might be wrong. I think there are some clinics that take BMI 40 self funding but my consultant did say it can affect odds if over 35 (who knows though!) good luck it’s tough losing the weight but worth it xx
