I am sorry you have had upset, Survivor.
When something triggers unsafe feeling, I want to hide and protect myself so I think it is a response to trauma.
You faced it and I'm so proud of you for posting how you felt, you reached out to us and hopefully the reassuring presence helps you through this very difficult trigger.
